Lauren Caughley is an Interior Architect based in Laguna Beach, California. Originally from New Zealand, Lauren relocated to New York City after University, where she spent 12 years working at Selldorf Architects & MA Architects. Her experience there ranged in exhibition and gallery design, single and multi-family residential homes, retail and boutique hotels. She opened her own practice, Caughley & Co, in New York City 2021, before relocating to Laguna in 2022.

Lauren has always painted in correlation to her work in Interior Architecture. The two practices go hand in hand. Her paintings explore the Architectural principles of scale, hierarchy, balance, proportion, shadow & light. She produces a limited collection each year, and is available for commissions.
